Terms of use

1. The service

TraitAtlas provides self-report tests and reports about personality, interests, motivation, work preferences and wellbeing; optional AI-written profiles (Atlas Profiles); tools to share and compare results; and team workspaces. Reports are for self-reflection and development. They are not medical, psychological or clinical advice, and they don't measure ability or job competence. The Wellbeing Check-in is not a diagnosis or a substitute for professional care.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract.

3. Your account

Keep your password safe and tell us about any unauthorised use. You're responsible for activity under your account. Your personal space and any organisation spaces you belong to are kept separate.

4. Payments, credits and coupons

Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. All purchases are one-time; there are no subscriptions. Payment is processed by Razorpay, and digital reports are delivered immediately after payment is verified. Credits from packs are valid for 12 months from purchase. Discounts and free access are available only through coupons, which may have limits, expiry dates and first-purchase conditions. Referral rewards are issued as coupons when a referred friend's payment completes. Refunds are covered on the pricing page.

5. Atlas Profiles and other AI writing

Atlas Profiles, manager's guides and team summaries are generated by third-party AI models from test results. An Atlas Profile may also use the optional About you choices you add. They may contain mistakes. Use them as a starting point for reflection and conversation, not as facts about a person.

6. Sharing and comparing

You choose whether to share your result or turn on a public link, and you can switch it off at any time. Only invite people to compare who want to take part. Don't share other people's results without their permission.

7. Organisations

If you run a team workspace, you must:

• explain the purpose of each round truthfully
• use reports you pay for only for development, support and team conversations, never to make hiring, firing, promotion, pay or performance decisions about individuals
• comply with applicable employment and data protection law

We tell participants before they start that your organisation will see their full report. You decide whether participants can see their own reports. You remain the data fiduciary for rounds you run, and we process participant data on your behalf.

8. Acceptable use

Don't copy or resell test content, attempt to access other people's data, probe or overload the service, or use it to discriminate against anyone.

9. Intellectual property

TraitAtlas, its reports, characters and original test content belong to The Tiny Apps Company. Some tests use third-party items under their own terms:

• IPIP items are in the public domain.
• O*NET Interest Profiler items come from the O*NET Career Exploration Tools by USDOL/ETA and are used under the O*NET Tools Developer License. We modified the report, score display and career ideas; USDOL/ETA has not approved, endorsed or tested these modifications. O*NET® is a trademark of USDOL/ETA.
• The WHO-5 Well-Being Index is © World Health Organization and used under the CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 IGO licence, which is why the Wellbeing Check-in is free and never sold. WHO does not endorse TraitAtlas.
• The Satisfaction With Life Scale (Diener, Emmons, Larsen and Griffin, 1985) is used with credit, as its authors permit.

You may keep and share your own reports.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for decisions made using reports, Atlas Profiles or other AI-written content.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. Questions: support@traitatlas.local. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
